Design Power Hour

Design Power Hour

What is a Design Power Hour?

The Design Power Hour is an affordable one-hour in-depth laser-focused advice session that you spend with Chantal either in person or online.

What you can expect

You will have one full hour with Chantal to talk through your design dilemmas and ask for her advice and input. You’re welcome to share pictures and images of your space as well as any plans, ideas, or items you’re considering purchasing. Chantal will be happy to talk through anything related to the design of that space.

How does the deep dive session work?

Firstly, contact Chantal to arrange an appointment – either complete the contact form or send an email. Once the meeting has been scheduled, you’ll have a full hour to talk through your interior design dilemmas and ask for advice, using pictures of your home, 2D plans, ideas, items you were thinking of purchasing, magazines - anything! Chantal will help you with any design-related questions and give suggestions.

Something to bear in mind…

We all know how quickly an hour slips by so bearing this in mind, after our consultation, Chantal will email you meeting notes, including all the suggestions made, just in case any slip your mind, including pictures to back up any suggestions.

Where do we meet?

Online or in-person, the choice is yours.

We can meet at a mutually agreed venue (café, coffee shop) or Chantal can come to your home (travel reimbursement depending on distance will also be incurred i.e. if not local to the Isle of Wight) The online or remote service will be conducted on a ‘Zoom’ call.

Price?

This is a flat rate service of £80 for the hour, including a post-appointment summary. Travel costs may be incurred and of course, if you’d like to add -on another half an hour follow-up a week or two after the meeting, you’re welcome to do that.

What could you bring along?

The more prepared you are, the more you’ll get out of the session. Bring or email photos of your home (on your phone/iPad) or share your Pinterest board with Chantal prior to the meeting so she can see your preferred design style. Bring along anything (magazine clippings of ideas) that has sparked your interest. You will be asked lots of questions - how you live, members of your family, ages, etc. There is a lot of detail that needs to be considered when designing a space, to make sure the desired outcome works for you and looks beautiful too!

Please remember…

Only so much can be fitted into one hour, so be sure of your most important design dilemmas and what you desire to achieve in that space prior to our appointment.

I look forward to working with you!
